Her Story: At first glance, she exudes strength, courage, and vitality, drawing us into her dazzling world of glitz and glamour. Yet, beneath the surface, a subtle flush on her cheeks and a slight tilt of her head hint at the pain, vulnerabilities, and insecurities she’s determined to keep hidden. Despite it all, she maintains her facade, knowing the show must go on and she cannot afford to disappoint.

Your Story: "Tropical Blush" reflects the effort you make to mask your struggles, whether physical or mental. Often, you wear different personas, projecting confidence to overcompensate for what you feel is lacking. This piece honours the resilience and strength it takes to persevere through inner turmoil or pain.

My Story: As a migraine sufferer since my teenage years, I’ve often had to push through debilitating pain just to get through the day. Maybe you have your own version of this struggle. I may not be donning a glitzy pink gown, but the challenge is real. Over time, I’ve learned to manage my symptoms, not allowing them to control my life.

When I look at this pose, I envision a flamingo, flaunting its showy feathers. I imagine a tropical oasis where birds of paradise bloom in pinks and purples instead of the usual orange and yellow. The large Monstera leaves dominating the frame are a reminder—and a bit of an inside joke to myself—that while I adore my garden, I’m not exactly a pro at keeping indoor plants alive. The combination of pink and green reflects both vibrancy and calm, while the butterfly symbolises transformation and resilience, reminding me of the strength it takes to emerge from pain and keep going.
